I’m Amy. My kids jokingly call me a middle-aged woman with a travel addiction and they may not be wrong. I caught the travel bug many years ago (and I mean many) on a trip organized by my middle school drama teacher to the U.K. and I haven’t looked back. That led to a college semester in France where I met my husband of now 30 years and here we are. Whether it is traveling with my whole family, just my husband or my girlfriends, I always try to make the most out of what is most definitely not a limitless budget. This means doing all of my own travel planning after lots of research, which I happen to love doing. I’m always happiest when I’m on a trip but planning the next one comes in a close second.
